The new Disney short, Once Upon a Studio, is a nice and passionate tribute to everything Disney. I've always had a love-hate relationship with the company (leaning more towards the side of hate as of late). Even ignoring the obvious political controversies, much of Disney's work lately is either underwhelming stuff, or stories they've recycled from their past, such as the live-action remakes. And the fact they're also relying too heavily on companies they own (such as Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm) to churn out work as well (many of which are also underwhelming or recycled) doesn't help. So to see a short film made as a passion project that celebrates everything Disney and nothing but the work of the main Disney animation studio feels like a breath of fresh air. It's impressive how many characters are here. I can't imagine how much work had to be done to get over 500 characters across EVERY Disney animated film and short (from bringing back old animators for certain characters, to
